​A condition whereby massage therapy treatment should not be administered at all.
If you suffer from or currently have any of the following conditions, please do not seek massage therapy treatment:
Abdomen (first few days of menstruation)
Recent physical injury
Contagious or infectious diseases
Diarrhea & Vomiting
Neuritis (inflammation of a peripheral nerve or nerves)
Pregnancy (after medical permission has been obtained, not on the abdomen)
Sunburn
Skin disease
Recent surgery, operations ( 2 years for major operation and 6 months for a small scar)
Recent Fractures (minimum 3 months)
Requiring Medical Permission
In circumstances where written medical permission cannot be obtained the client must give their consent in writing prior to treatment.
